While social distancing is the new norm in the wake of the global Corona pandemic, it is proving to be a sea of change for the blind and visually-impaired whose lives cannot function without touch and feel. In line with this vision, Khabri, India’s first pure-play, digital audio content platform in vernacular, has rolled out an exclusive helpline portal/platform in Hindi to attend to the visually impaired across India. The initiative is called #VoiceOfBlinds, for these are the people who hear more than they can see and their voices need to be heard.

With this helpline portal, Khabri endeavours to reach this cohort and address their problems.
Besides this, they are also planning to hold live sessions with experts for direct interaction and make sure that the community of blind and visually-impaired is not left behind. They have already launched a
dedicated content channel for the purpose, will be holding live counselling sessions and
celebrity-led talk shows to further their commitment towards empowering the blind community across India.
